In this month’s employee spotlight series, we’re turning our attention to Nick Dellamano. Nick recently joined our team in May 2021, taking on the important role of account assistant.
As an account assistant here at Falvey Shippers Insurance, Nick is dedicated to supporting our customers. He provides top-notch customer service, covering everything from processing requests to issuing policies. Nick also works closely with team members Billy Worthington, vice president of West Coast operations, and Jay Jeannotte, vice president of East Coast operations, assisting with day-to-day tasks.
“I enjoy working for the FSI team,” Nick says. “The cutting-edge technology gives us an edge against competitors and helps us provide the best service we can for our customers.”
Nick looks forward to watching the company continue to grow and take on new endeavors. “It’s impressive to see what Billy and Jay have started from the ground up,” he explains. “I’m excited to see where FSI can go in the future.”
In 2020, Nick earned his bachelor’s degree in International Maritime Business from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. He interned with Starr Companies as an underwriting assistant for the Marine Department and later took on a full-time position as an underwriting assistant in the General Property Department. He worked in that role for a year before joining the Falvey team.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys hanging out with friends, going to the beach, and playing golf.
